Staff representatives from Talking Changes attended the TEWV AGM 2015 at Middlesbrough Football Club. The AGM was well attended by nearly 270 service users and trust staff. We were able to share information about our service (as well as giving out Talking Changes ‘goody’ bags!)
The theme for this year’s event was ‘Young Carers.’ Attendees welcomed a talk by Helen Leadbitter, Operational Programme Manager of the Children’s Society. Helen explained the challenges faced by young carers and their families and how we as a service could help to support them.
Chief Executive Martin Barclay gave a presentation demonstrating good practice throughout the trust and outlined plans for the future. Afterwards, members of the public and staff had the opportunity to ask questions about issues that were important to them.
Thanks to all staff who were able to attend and help out:
Dave Peat, Dominic Mossa, Greg Hawman, Joanne Barraclough and Susannah Fisher.
